Event overview
The Exmouth Challenge Series 2026 is a series of four weekend events organised by Running Events Devon. The dates are: 31 January - 1 February, 18 April - 19 April, 27 June - 28 June, and 10 October - 11 October 2026. Entrants may choose to take part on either Day 1 (Saturday) or Day 2 (Sunday) for each weekend. Completion of all four event days in the series earns a complimentary T-shirt.
Format and entry details
Each event is a timed challenge with a 7-hour limit to reach the finish of a competitor’s final lap. The course is an out-and-back loop of 5.3 km per lap on an old disused train line. The organiser states the course is undulating, described as off-road/paved, and also notes it is run entirely on tarmac; the route holds a certified measurement and is classified as Road. Participants may walk or run; those who finish any number of laps within the permitted time are recorded as finishers and may collect a medal.
