Event

Running Events Devon - Winter Challenge Day 1 takes place on Saturday, 31 January 2026. The event is one of four dates in the Exmouth Challenge Series (31 Jan/1 Feb, 18/19 Apr, 27/28 Jun, 10/11 Oct). Completing all four days of the series qualifies participants for a complimentary T-shirt. The Winter Challenge offers two start options with different cut-off windows: one option with a 7-hour cut off and another with a 5-hour cut off. The event holds an ARC permit.

Course and entry details

The course is an accurately measured, certified road route run entirely on tarmac along an old disused train line. Each lap is 5.3 km out-and-back on an undulating route. Entrants may complete one or more laps within the permitted time; finishers are eligible to collect a medal for the event. Entry closes 30/01/2026. Minimum age is 17 years. Maximum number of entrants is 75.
