Runner's HI 20K
Runner's HI 20K takes place at the Kalaeloa Professional Center, Saratoga Avenue, in Kapolei on the west side of O'ahu. The event uses a flat, multi-loop course located near the beach and is intended as a venue to practice pacing for the mid-section of the Honolulu Marathon.
The event offers the following distances:
- 20K : flat multi-loop course on O'ahu's west side; custom 20K finisher medal.
- 5K : 5K run on the west side of O'ahu; finisher medal included for every finisher.
New this year the event includes upgraded fully custom tech shirts for the first 500 entrants and a custom 20K medal made specifically for the event.
Awards and prizes are provided as follows. Overall winners: top three male and female finishers in both the 20K and the 5K. Age-group prizes for the 20K are awarded to the top three male and female in each group: 14 and under, 15-19, then every 5 years up to 85 and over. Age-group prizes for the 5K are awarded to the top three male and female: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, then every 10 years up to 80 and over.
