About the race
Runner's Den 30th Anniversary Celebration is a relay event held in Hamilton, Ontario on September 19, 2026. The event is organized as a 30 km relay made up of six 5 km loops along the Hamilton waterfront, with the loop start and finish at Leander Boat Club, 50 Leander Drive.
Teams may consist of 1 to 6 participants. Each participant must register individually and add themselves to their team. During the event each team member completes a 5 km loop and then passes a baton to the next team member; the team finishes after six loops of the course. The listed individual entry fee is CA$34.93 and the registration listing shows spots remaining: 396.
Awards and a celebration follow the race. Recognition is planned for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall by chip time; the overall Masters team based on a combined age of 220 or greater; Best Dressed; Most Creative Baton; Best Team Name; Most Colourful Crew; and a Throwback Champs category for the oldest piece of Runner's Den apparel, to be judged by event organizers.
Parking for participants is available off Guise Street where available. The parking lot at 50 Leander Drive will not be available to participants. Participants are asked to abide by local by laws when selecting parking. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
