About the race
The Egg Nog Jog is a New Year’s Eve running event at Crossroads at Silverbell Park in Marana, Arizona (7548 N Silverbell Rd). It offers multiple out-and-back distances on the Santa Cruz River shared-use path. The course is entirely on the shared-use path, is well marked with triangle ground signs, and has refueling stations at the start/finish area and at each turnaround point.
Available distances:
- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles
- 10K: 6.2 miles
- 5K: 3.1 miles
- Kid’s FREE Fun Run: 1 mile for children
Cutoff times are set for each distance: approximately 3 hours for the half marathon, 2 hours for the 10K, and 1 hour for the 5K. Registrations include a custom race bib, a custom online finisher certificate, and a finisher medal for participants who register. Two fitness-themed prize packs will be raffled for each race as part of event inclusion.
Packet pickup is offered the Monday before the event at the Marana Aquatics and Recreation Center (13455 N Marana Main St) and on race morning at the venue. The RaceJoy app is available for tracking, cheers, and live results; event results will also be posted live and text messaging sign-up is available. The start/finish area will host community activities and family-friendly amenities including themed face painting, a photo booth, and roll-A-Snowman crafts.
