Spring RunFit Kidz Celebration Run
The Spring RunFit Kidz Celebration Run is a community athletic event held at the Fairfax Corner Shopping Center in Fairfax, Virginia. This event serves as a final celebration for participants in the RunFit Kidz program, inviting parents, families, siblings, and friends to participate alongside the students.
The event features several registration options for the 5K distance:
- 5K Adult (13 & Over) with Bib & Shirt
- 5K Adult (13 & Over)
- RFK Child (12 & U) & Alumni
Participants in the RunFit Kidz program are automatically registered for the event. Program students receive their race packets, which include a commemorative finisher's T-shirt and race bib, from their coaches during their final class. All participants who complete the course receive a finisher's medal at the finish line.
The event is staged at the Fairfax Corner plaza, which serves as the location for the start and finish lines as well as post-race snacks. For those not in the student program, packet pick-up is available on the morning of the race. The venue provides free parking in surrounding lots and a parking garage. Registration for the version including a commemorative shirt closes earlier than the standard registration to allow for processing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
