RunAmok Bury St Edmunds Half Marathon 2027
The event is a Half Marathon held on Sunday 19 September 2027 in and around Bury St Edmunds. The course is a looped, mostly flat route that uses a mix of pedestrian paths and country roads, passing through Moreton Hall, Rougham and nearby villages and offering views of the Suffolk countryside.
The route is clearly marked with mile signs and directional arrows. Marshals will be positioned throughout the course, and runners should be aware this is not a closed road event so other path and road users may be present. Water stations are provided every 5 km, with additional water at the finish.
A secure baggage drop will be available on race day; competitors attach the provided baggage tag to their bag and show their race number when collecting belongings. Results will be published immediately after the event. All finishers receive a bespoke Bury St Edmunds Half Marathon medal and an official race t-shirt.
Photography and videography will take place during the event; attendance implies possible inclusion in published images and videos. Requests to remove published content will be handled on request. Spectators are welcome and are advised to use the event village to view the start and the finish. Volunteers support various event tasks and are part of the organising team.
