RunAMOK Race Series: Bury St Edmunds Half Marathon
The event is a looped, mostly flat half marathon around Bury St Edmunds, passing through Moreton Hall, Rougham and nearby villages. The route uses a mix of pedestrian paths and country roads and offers views of the Suffolk countryside. A full route and a GPX file will be made available closer to the event.
Each mile on the course is clearly marked and marshals and directional arrows will be positioned throughout. The race is not run on closed roads; spectators and members of the public may also be using the paths. Water stations are provided every 5 km, with additional water at the finish.
A secure baggage drop is available on race day. Each baggage tag is attached to the race number and race number will be required when collecting belongings. Race results are published immediately after the event.
All finishers of the 2026 half marathon will receive a bespoke Bury St Edmunds Half Marathon medal. Thanks to a sponsor, every participant will also receive an official race tee. Photography and videography will take place during the event; images may be used in promotional materials and can be removed on request.
Spectators are welcome and the event village is the recommended area to watch the start and the finish. Tickets are shown as sold out and a waiting list is available; listed prices ranged from £41.63 to £43.74. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
