RunAMOK Race Series: Bury St Edmunds Half Marathon
The event on Sunday 18 October 2026 is a Half Marathon around Bury St Edmunds, starting at the Skyliner Centre, IP32 7QB. The course is a looped, mostly flat route that uses a mix of pedestrian paths and country roads and passes through Moreton Hall, Rougham and nearby villages.
Each mile will be clearly and accurately marked and marshals will be positioned throughout the course. The race is not on closed roads, so spectators and members of the public may also use the paths. Water stations are provided every 5 km and additional water will be available at the finish.
A secure baggage drop will operate on race day. Runners receive a baggage tag attached to their race number for bag collection; showing the race number is required to retrieve items. Race results will be published immediately after the event.
A bespoke Bury St Edmunds Half Marathon medal will be given to all finishers of the 2026 race. Event t shirts are not yet confirmed and will depend on participant numbers. Photography and videography will take place during the event and images may be used for promotional materials; requests to remove published photos or videos will be handled on request.
