Event Overview
The RUN585 Race Series is a set of three evening road races held on consecutive Wednesday evenings in the summer of 2026 in Rochester, New York. The events start and finish at the Genesee Waterways Center on Elmwood Avenue. Registration is available for the entire three-race series or for each individual event separately; there is no registration on the day of the races.
Distances and Schedule
The series consists of three separate events:
- Race 1: The Big Run (5 km) on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
- Race 2: Summer in the City (8 km) on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
- Race 3: Hot Summer Night (5 km) on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
Location and Course
All races are based at the Genesee Waterways Center. The course follows the Genesee River Path, which includes sections along the historic river and crosses several pedestrian bridges.
Registration Details
Participants can register for the entire three-race series or for any single event. Day-of registration is not available. Early registration is advised as prices increase after a specified date.
Inclusions
All participants receive a finisher medal for each race completed, post-race food, online results, a custom finisher certificate, and electronic RFID timing. Overall and age-group awards are presented for each race. Participants who register for the full series also receive a custom backpack and have the option to purchase a series race t-shirt.
