Run4Hope 5K for Schools
Run4Hope 5K for Schools is an in-person community event at The Ascent Church in El Paso County. The 10th annual edition takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, and combines a timed race with a family-friendly color run and post-event activities.

Run4Hope raises funds to support the social and emotional wellness of local teenagers. Proceeds fund programs in area schools that focus on suicide prevention, mental health awareness, and related training.
After the runs, the event continues with a block party featuring a free BBQ lunch, live music, classic cars, games, and bounce houses. Organizers note opportunities for local businesses to participate as corporate sponsors or vendors; sponsor benefits listed include brand visibility, recognition on event channels, and vendor booth space to connect with local families.
Volunteer roles are organized for the event and include positions such as Welcome Team, Color Blaster Team, and Hydration Heroes.
