Run4Heroes is an annual untimed 5K run/walk held at the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The event honors Ukrainian men and women who have given their lives in the fight for freedom and independence since 2014 and supports veterans and families affected by the conflict.
The event includes an in-person 5K along Kelly Drive with a turn near the General Ulysses Grant statue, and a virtual 5K option for participants taking part from other locations. Registration is free and a suggested donation of $20 or more is noted. Parking is available at The Oval and surrounding areas.
Proceeds from this event support the Veteran Hub "Restart 2025" in Oleksandriya, Ukraine, a space dedicated to supporting veterans, families of fallen heroes, and people who are missing in action or in captivity. Participants are invited to dedicate their run to a specific Ukrainian hero and to bring Ukrainian flags or wear blue and yellow as a sign of remembrance.
