Run2Overcome 10k
The Run2Overcome is an annual charity event held in Greenville, South Carolina. Now in its 18th year, the event serves as a fundraiser for the Julie Valentine Center, an organization that provides services for survivors of sexual assault and abuse. The event focuses on community support and raising awareness for survivors through physical activity.
Participants can choose from several different distances and formats:
- 10k running race
- 5k running race
- 200 Yards Kids Fun Run Dash
- Virtual Run/Walk (any distance)
The start and finish lines are located at First Baptist Church Greenville on Cleveland Street. The 10k and 5k courses utilize local roads and routes in the surrounding area. Packet pickup is available on the day before the event at the Julie Valentine Center on White Horse Road, or on the morning of the event at the race site.
The event includes a chip-timed start for the competitive distances. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall. Additionally, the top male and female finishers in various age categories are recognized, ranging from participants aged 12 and under to those aged 80 and over.
