Run2Cure Sydney : Event overview
Run2Cure Sydney is a charity running event organised by the registered charity Neuroblastoma Australia and held at The Domain, Phillip Precinct, Sydney. The event offers a mix of timed races and untimed walks on courses that use a 5 km loop around Mrs Macquarie's Chair for longer distances. The 3 km and 1 km events are held on courses closer to the Domain precinct. The 2025 edition was scheduled for Sunday 6 April 2025; the organiser also staged an event in 2026 and indicated plans for 2027.
All timed events use chip timing. Completion medals are awarded to all participants. Top first, second and third place male and female finishers in the 3 km, 5 km, 10 km and 21.1 km events receive special medals and stage presentations, with awards determined by gun time; there are no age category presentations beyond the 11 and under category in the 3 km event.
Bibs were mailed for registrations completed by 10 March; later registrations required in person collection and replacement bibs incur a $10 fee. The event village runs during the morning and features family activities, children’s entertainment, pony rides, face painting, lawn games, a discovery van, kids fitness activities and food and coffee trucks on site. Pacing support for the Half Marathon and 10 km has been provided by a local running group covering a range of target finish times. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
