Event Overview
The Run Your Bundts Off 5k Fun Run & Walk takes place in Springfield, Illinois, at Lincoln Park. The event offers two distances: a 5K run and a 2-mile untimed walk. All profits from the event benefit two organizations: Girls on the Run of Central Illinois and True North Running.
Participant Information
Participants registered for the 5K receive chip-timed results. All registered participants are guaranteed a race T-shirt and a custom finisher medal. At the finish line, participants receive Bundtinis. Complimentary race photos are also provided.
The event has a combined participant capacity of 500 people for runners and walkers. Registration includes a price increase after a specified date.
Event Logistics
The start and finish area is located in front of the parking lot at the Lincoln Park Pavilion. The 5K course consists of three loops around the main park path.
Parking is available at the Nelson Center and other nearby park lots. Public bathrooms are available in the Nelson Center, the Lincoln Park pavilion, and a park shelter.
Packet pickup is available the day before the race at a local bakery and on race day at the event site starting at 7:00 AM. A registration QR code is required for pickup.
Awards and Notes
Awards are given for the 5K event only. The top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three in each age and gender division, receive awards. Overall winners receive a full-size Bundt cake.
