Run Your Bundts Off 5k Fun Run & Walk : Springfield

Run Your Bundts Off is scheduled for July 31, 2027 at the Lincoln Park Pavilion in Springfield, Illinois (1601 N 5th St 62702). The event offers two distances: 5K and a 2 Mile walk. Proceeds benefit Girls on the Run of Central Illinois and True North Running.

Registration carries a fee of $30 and will remain open until the event reaches a 500 participant limit. Race shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by July 16; later registrants may receive shirts while supplies last. There is no refund policy, but registrations may be transferred; participants should contact the event organizer for transfer arrangements.

Included with registration are small baked items at the finish, race photos provided by Almalee Photography, a custom finisher medal, an official race shirt from Impressions Designs, and chip timing for all 5K participants. Volunteers receive a complimentary race shirt.

Packet pickup is available Friday, July 30 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Nothing Bundt Cakes, 2476 Wabash Ave, with additional race day pickup at the event site beginning at 7:00 AM. Participants must present their registration QR code to receive packets; picking up for another participant is allowed with that participant’s QR code.

The 5K course uses three loops on the Lincoln Park main path and is listed at approximately 3.3 miles. The start and finish area will be in front of the Lincoln Park Pavilion parking lot; that area will be closed to vehicle traffic during the event. Parking is available at the Nelson Center and nearby park lots, with the Pavilion lot reserved for volunteers and vendors.

Awards for the 5K include top three overall male and female finishers and top three in each age division. Overall winners receive a year of free cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes and a professionally fitted pair of running shoes from Springfield Running Center.
