Run Your Bass Off
The Run Your Bass Off event takes place on Saturday, July 18, 2026. The event is held in Stanford, Illinois, at 203 N Blackstone Ave.
It is an annual 5K run/walk that supports the Olympia Bass Fishing Team. The youth fishing team competes in tournaments across the state. The event is part of Stanford’s Good Old Days Festival.
After the race, festival activities include food and craft vendors, live music, a parade, a car show, pool games, pony rides, a petting zoo, a foam party, and an evening fireworks display.
Awards are given to the top male and female overall finishers, and to the top male and female in each age group. The age groups are:
- 9 and under
- 10-14
- 15-19
- 20-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50-59
- 60-69
- 70-79
- 80+
