Course Information

The 5k course starts on Division Street. It goes through two restored prairies managed by the Belwin Conservancy: the Bison Prairie and Tallgrass Trails. The Bison Prairie has been maintained by a bison herd for 15 years. The starting line is a 10-minute walk from the check-in station.

Event Details

The run is untimed and open to runners and walkers. The event is held rain or shine. The bison herd is released onto the prairie after the run finishes.

Check-in begins at 9:00 AM. Line-up at the start begins at 9:45 AM. Parking is available at the Lucy Winton Bell Athletic Fields, and the entrance fee is waived for runners.

Registration and Fees

Online registration costs $20.00. Same-day registration is available for $25.00, payable with cash, credit card, or check. The registration fee includes entrance to the Belwin Bison Festival. Youth 12 years and under run for free but must be registered by a parent or guardian.
