Run With Maud 5K Run/Walk - Atlanta, GA
Run With Maud is scheduled for August 29 at Shirley Clarke Franklin Park (formerly Westside Park), 1600 Johnson Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. The event offers both an in person 5K Run/Walk and a virtual 5K option, each covering 3.1 miles.
Registration opens February 23. The in person registration period closes on August 29 and the virtual registration period closes on August 28. The registration fee is $45. In person entries include a commemorative bib, chip timed race participation, a commemorative adidas T-shirt, and an additional commemorative item. Virtual entries include a commemorative adidas T-shirt and shipping of the race packet. Virtual participant shirts are scheduled to be mailed in mid August to the shipping address provided at registration. Virtual participants can submit their finish time on the RunSignUp results page and download an official finisher certificate; they do not need to attend packet pickup or race day.
Proceeds support scholarships, youth leadership and empowerment programming, and social justice advocacy and community engagement through the organizing foundation. Parking is available at Shirley Clarke Franklin Park. The event is planned to take place rain or shine; in the event of lightning or severe weather, officials will prioritize safety and may delay or cancel the event with notifications sent by email and social media.
