Run Wild Rhino Rush 5K and associated races
The event takes place on July 11, 2026, at GFC Soccer Park in Georgetown, Kentucky. It includes three races held on the soccer complex roads and parking areas.
- 3.1 miles (RunWild Rhino Rush 5K)
- 1 mile (RunWild 1 Mile)
- 400 m (RunWild Rhino Dash, ages 6 and under)
The 5k uses a two-loop course of about 1.56 miles per loop across the soccer complex roads. The kids dash is a quarter-mile loop around the parking lot; parents may accompany young children. The 1 mile is a single short-course race; finishers of the 1 mile receive a custom RunWild sticker.
Registration windows and fees differ by race. The 5k registration opens January 1, 2026, and closes July 10, 2026, with a listed fee of $25. The 1 mile registration opens May 8, 2026, and closes July 10, 2026, with a listed fee of $20. The kids dash registration opens January 1, 2026, and closes July 10, 2026, with no fee.
Water and Gatorade will be provided at the finish area. All registered 5k runners receive a custom RunWild buckle and results posting. RunWild running hats are available for purchase at $20 each; proceeds support the running club. Proceeds from the races go toward team registration fees and related expenses; funds were used previously to purchase spikes for runners.
