Event Overview
The OHS Paws in the Park 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk is a fundraising event for the Oconee Humane Society. It takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at South Cove County Park in Seneca, South Carolina. This is the event's second annual edition.

Course and Location
The 5K route is described as a three-mile run lakeside at one of Oconee's scenic parks. The event encourages family participation, including well-behaved dogs on short leashes (retractable leashes are not permitted for safety). Strollers and walkers are welcome but are asked to start at the back of the group.
Registration and Fees
The registration fee is listed as $30, which includes a race packet with a T-shirt, refreshments, and access to a post-race party. A deadline is noted: participants must register by September 10th to be guaranteed a shirt. Packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, September 25th from 3-6 PM and on race day from 7-8 AM at South Cove County Park.
Post-Race
A post-race party features awards, refreshments, and music by the lake. Awards will be presented for the 5K to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
