OHS Paws in the Park 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk
Oconee Humane Society presents its second annual Paws in the Park, a community event on September 26 at South Cove County Park in Seneca, South Carolina. The event raises funds to support programs offered and supported by Oconee Humane Society and takes place along lakeside paths.
Available distances:
- 5K run around the lakeside course.
- 1 mile walk with a shorter lakeside route.
Race packets for registrants include a T-shirt and other items; participants who register by September 10 are guaranteed a T-shirt. Packet pick up is scheduled Friday, September 25 at South Cove County Park from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Saturday, September 26 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
Event logistics note that pets are welcome but must be on a short leash and retractable leashes are not allowed. Strollers and walkers may participate but are asked to start at the back for safety. A post-race gathering will follow with awards, refreshments, and music at the lakeside.
