Event Overview
This event takes place in Anderson, South Carolina at the AnMed track on the designated date. It is organized by Fostering the Family to raise awareness for the local foster and adoptive community in Anderson County.
Event Format
Participants can run, walk, or roll around the track at their own pace with their families. This is not an official, timed race. The organizers anticipate most participants will complete two laps, which is approximately 2 miles.
Additional Activities
The event includes interactive activities for children around the track. There will be sponsor booths, food trucks, and other fun activities. Several nonprofits and vendors will be present for interaction. The event also features teddy bears with pictures of South Carolina foster children currently available for adoption, and a moment to reflect on foster care statistics.
Registration and Fees
Registration fees are $15 for individuals or $25 for families residing in the same household. Families of three or more members from the same household who register are entered into a drawing to win a $1,500 mortgage or rent payment.
