Run For Dreams, Shelbyville KY
Run For Dreams is a fundraising running event held on 25 July 2026 at Red Orchard Park in Shelbyville, Kentucky. The event supports The Dream Factory, a nonprofit that grants wishes to critically and chronically ill children aged three to eighteen. The Dream Factory began in 1980 as an all volunteer chapter and now has chapters across the United States.
Races take place on a two mile cross country course that includes hills and open ground where summer heat can be a factor. Food and drinks are available throughout the day, and the event includes a mystery burrito offering. Participants may set up equipment or stations along the course.
The event offers multiple timed options and a team relay:

- 6 hour
- 12 hour
- 6 hour relay up to six people
Registration fees are listed per event: 3 hour $50, 6 hour $60, 12 hour $70, and 6 hour relay $100. Registration windows for the individual timed events opened 24 February 2026 and closed 25 June 2026. Relay registration opened 31 May 2026 and closed 22 July 2026.
