Event Overview
The Run UA event supports University Academy, a public charter school in Bay County, Florida. Funds raised benefit the school's students, staff, and programs.
Distances and Registration
Participants can register for three distances:
- 10K for $55 ($45 before January 15, 2026).
- 5K for $40 ($30 before January 15, 2026).
- 1 Mile Children’s Fun Run for $20 ($15 before January 15, 2026), for participants aged up to 12.
All participants receive a custom event t-shirt, a finisher medal, and can join a post-race celebration.
Course and Location
The courses for the 10K, 5K, and 1-mile run take place in the SweetBay coastal community in Panama City, Florida. The event starts in front of University Academy at 1980 Discovery Loop. Parking is available at the school and within the SweetBay community.
Awards
Awards are given for the 10K and 5K races. These include the top three overall male and female finishers, the first-place male and female Masters and Grand Masters, and the top three finishers in various age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
