Event overview
Run UA is an inaugural running event in Panama City, Florida, scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026. The courses run through the SweetBay community and start in front of University Academy, a K–8 public charter school in Bay County. The event benefits University Academy and its programs.

Entry and awards
Registration fees are listed with two price points and a price increase after January 15, 2026: 10K ($45 and $55), 5K ($30 and $40), 1 Mile ($15 and $20). All participants receive a custom event t-shirt and a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and over.
Schedule and logistics
Packet pickup is available on March 5 and March 6 at the University Academy Gymnasium and at the SweetBay Event Pavilion on race day. The race will start in front of University Academy at 1980 Discovery Loop, Panama City, FL 32408. Parking is available at University Academy, the Residences of SweetBay, and the SweetBay community. Discovery Loop will be closed for access to University Academy parking lots, and additional road closures are likely. Course maps will be posted prior to the event.
