Event overview
University Academy will hold the inaugural Run UA on March 7, 2026 in Panama City, Florida. The event includes a 10K, a 5K, and a 1 Mile Children’s Fun Run for ages up to 10. The courses run through the SweetBay community and the race will start in front of University Academy, 1980 Discovery Loop, Panama City, FL. Participants receive a custom event t-shirt, a finisher medal, and access to a post-race celebration. Run UA benefits University Academy, a K–8 public charter school; the school is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Registration fees listed are: 10K $55 (early $45), 5K $40 (early $30), 1 Mile $20 (early $15); a price increase applies after January 15, 2026. Packet pickup is scheduled on the days before the event at the University Academy gymnasium and on event day at the SweetBay event pavilion. Plenty of parking is available at University Academy, the Residences of SweetBay, and the SweetBay community. Awards are given to the top three overall males and females and the top three finishers in age groups: 9 and under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70 and over.
