Run To The River 5K, Deep River CT
The Run To The River is a 5K road race held on the Deep River Family Day. The route is USATF certified and begins at Devitt Field at Southworth and Belmont. The course follows Main Street, Kirtland Street toward the river as the road becomes River Street, continues across Main Street onto Elm Street, turns left onto Union Street by the firehouse, then proceeds near the blinking light and returns to Southworth at Devitt Field. The finish is at the bottom of the hill, through the gate at B field, with the line placed near the goal post.
Registration opens 5/8/2026. Entry fees include an early bird rate of $20, a higher fee after Sept 2, and an on race day fee. A group discount is available at $15 per person for groups of six or more who register together by Sept 2. The first 100 registrants in the 5K receive a race t-shirt as part of their fee.
Awards are given to the top male and female overall and to the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 10 years and under; 11 to 14; 15 to 18; 19 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; 70 to 80; and 80 and over.
