Run to Stay Warm
Run to Stay Warm is a fundraising road race held in Eugene, Oregon, along the Willamette River and through Alton Baker Park. The event is presented by Eugene Marathon and benefits EWEB’s Customer Care Program. The course is described as flat and starts and finishes at Downtown Riverfront Park.
Distances offered include:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- Free Kid's Run
Participants in all three main distances receive a beanie. Race shirts for 2026 are available for purchase online and will be mailed to the shipping address provided at purchase; shirts are not available at packet pick-up. Bibs and beanies will not be mailed and must be collected at packet pick-up. Registration fees are non-refundable and bibs are non-transferable. A Family & Friends Discount offers 10 percent off when three or more people register together.
Walkers are allowed on all courses and the course window accommodates a pace of about 16 minutes per mile. Wheelchair participants are permitted with prior communication to organizers. A bag check area is provided but runners must supply their own bags; the event is not responsible for lost or damaged items. Dogs are not allowed on the course. Portable restrooms are located at the start, finish and along the course. A post-race party at Downtown Riverfront Park includes food and beverage partners such as Palace Bakery, Viking Brewing and Franz Bakery.
