Run To Rise
Run To Rise is a community running event taking place on May 9, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas, at Woodshed Smokehouse, 3201 Riverfront Dr. The event benefits the Young Women’s Leadership Academy Foundation of Fort Worth, which supports leadership programming, college readiness experiences, mentorship, and academic enrichment for students at the all-girls public college-preparatory school.
The event features two course options:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
Registration fees vary by registration period. Early bird online registration (by April 3) offers the 1-mile free and the 5K for $25. Standard online registration (by May 8) lists the 1-mile for $5 and the 5K for $30. Race day registration carries higher fees. Race shirts are not included with registration but may be purchased during registration for $12 (XXL+ $15) until April 20.
There will be race day packet pickup at the event site. The first 250 registered finishers will receive a custom finisher medal.
Awards for the 5K include overall categories (male, female, master, and 18-and-under) and age-group awards covering standard age brackets from 12 & under through 80 & over. Race results will be chip-timed by Cox Racing Services. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
