Run to Rescue - 14th Annual
Run to Rescue is scheduled for August 8, 2026 at Czechland Lake in Prague, Nebraska. The event is held in conjunction with Prague's Beer Barrel Days and directs proceeds to the Prague Rescue Squad. The course follows a scenic, former railroad corridor that runs along the lake and continues west toward the ghost town of Rescue.
Distances offered include:
- 8 Mile
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
All pre-registered participants who register by July 25 will receive a Run To Rescue T-shirt. Entries received after July 25 are not guaranteed a T-shirt. Children ages 10 and under receive a $10 discount at checkout. Packet pick-up is scheduled at the Prague Fire Hall on the evening before the event and at the middle entrance of Czechland Lake under the covered picnic area on race morning. There will be no race day registrations; in-person registration is available at the Friday packet pick-up.
Medals will be awarded to top male and female finishers in age categories. Chip timing and official results are provided by Precision Race Results LLC, Omaha, Nebraska.
