Run to Rescue - 14th Annual
Run to Rescue is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Czechland Lake near Prague, Nebraska. Proceeds benefit the Prague Rescue Squad. The event starts at Czechland Lake, located just north of Prague on Highway 79, and uses an old railroad corridor that runs along the lake and continues west to the ghost town of Rescue. The race takes place alongside Prague's annual Beer Barrel Days celebration.

All pre-registered participants who register by July 25 will receive a Run To Rescue T-shirt. Entries received after July 25 are not guaranteed a T-shirt. Ages 10 and under receive a $10 discount at checkout. There are no race day registrations; registration is available at the Friday packet pickup.
Packet pick-up information is provided for the day before and race day. Packet pick-up will be at the Prague Fire Hall, 109 S. Railway Ave., from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7. Race day packet pick-up will be at the middle entrance of Czechland Lake under the covered picnic area from 7:00 to 7:30 a.m. Medals will be awarded to top male and female finishers in age categories. Chip timing and results will be provided by Precision Race Results LLC, Omaha, NE. Refreshments and prizes will follow the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
