Run to Rescue - 14th Annual
Run to Rescue is a community road event held at Czechland Lake near Prague, Nebraska on August 8, 2026. The course follows a scenic former railroad bed that runs along the lake and continues west toward the ghost town of Rescue. The event takes place alongside Prague's annual Beer Barrel Days celebration.

- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
All pre-registered participants who register by July 25 are scheduled to receive a Run To Rescue T-shirt; entries received after July 25 are not guaranteed a shirt. Ages 10 and under receive a discount on entry fees. Medals will be awarded to top male and female finishers in age categories. Chip timing and official results are provided by Precision Race Results LLC, Omaha, NE.
Packet pick-up locations are listed for the evening before the race at the Prague Fire Hall and at the middle entrance of Czechland Lake under the covered picnic area on race morning. Race day registration is not available; on-site registration is offered at the Friday packet pick-up. Proceeds from the event benefit the Prague Rescue Squad.
