Run to Remember 5K - Lethbridge
Run to Remember is a community-oriented event on September 27, 2026 at Mountain View Cemetery in Lethbridge. It is organized to commemorate and honour the memories of loved ones and to celebrate life. Participants may write the names of those they are running for on a memorial board.
Distances available:
- 5K double loop on paved trails through the cemetery.
- 2.5K single loop on paved trails.
The start and finish are at the cemetery entrance, 1210 Scenic Drive South. The course follows paved paths and the 5K consists of two loops. Strollers are welcome. Dogs are not permitted inside the cemetery and participants are asked to stay off graves.
Registration is limited to 250 entries and pricing includes a processing fee. Early bird pricing applies until August 31 and standard pricing applies from September 1 to September 27; fees vary by age and family option.
The event is chip timed with live online searchable results. The top finisher in each age category for both distances will receive a medal. Age categories are 5 and under, 6 to 11, 12 to 15, 16 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus.
Package pickup is available at the Mountain View Cemetery office the Friday before the event and on the morning of the event for out-of-town participants. Parking is available at the Radiology Associates lot, 1122 Scenic Drive South. Volunteers are needed for multiple roles and no prior experience is required.
