Ladiesfest 8K : Lethbridge, Alberta
The Ladiesfest 8K is a women-only run/walk established in 2000. The event features an 8 km course that descends into the river valley and returns to the Sandman Signature Lethbridge Lodge, where a buffet breakfast and awards ceremony take place in the lodge ballroom.
All proceeds from the 2026 event will be donated to Womanspace, a resource centre serving women in Lethbridge and the surrounding area. Entry is limited to 500 participants and online registration opens March 22, 2026.
Registration fees are set by age category and include entry to the 8K and the buffet breakfast. Optional polyester ladies shirts are available for an additional fee with orders accepted through May 24, 2026. Extra breakfast tickets are offered separately.
A 1 hour 45 minute cutoff applies on the course. Strollers should note there are several steps on the final stretch of a shale pathway coming off Whoop-up behind the Galt Museum. Package pickup is scheduled Friday June 12, 10:00–17:30 at Runners Soul, with a race-day pickup option for out-of-town participants near the start/finish area.
Awards will be given to the top three overall, top three in each age group, and first place teams in the Mother-Daughter, Sister-Sister and Sisterhood divisions.
