Run To Remember 5K - Fulton
The Run To Remember 5K takes place in Fulton, New York, as a collaborative event with the CNY Community Art's Center. This community race is scheduled to coincide with the local Memorial Day Parade and Field Days. The event serves as a tribute to military members and supports arts opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.
Participants can choose from two primary formats:
- 5 km Run/Walk
- 5 km Rucksack Run
The 5 km Rucksack division requires participants to carry a rucksack or backpack weighing a minimum of 20 lbs. This category is scored separately from the standard run and walk. The event is open to diverse participants, including those pushing strollers and runners with dogs on leashes.
All registered participants receive a custom shirt and a finisher medal. Post-race refreshments include a sandwich provided by Chick-Fil-A for the first 150 individuals to sign up. Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, masters overall winners, and age group winners. The race finishes at a time that allows attendees to watch the annual Fulton Memorial Day Parade. Packet pick-up is available locally the day before the race and on the morning of the event.
