Run To Feed The Hungry Half Marathon and Community Races
Run To Feed The Hungry offers multiple in-person races and virtual options that raise funds for local Central Ohio food pantries. Races start and finish at the same location on a paved trail and course maps are provided for each distance.
Distances include:
- Half Marathon, 13.1 miles
- 10K, 6.2 miles
- 5K, 3.1 miles
- 1 Mile, 1 mile
- Kids Fun Run, 0.25 miles
- Virtual race options for the same distances
Participants receive event items with several choices available such as a turkey or holiday hat (20 hat options at packet pickup), a tutu in one of nine colors, or a t shirt or hooded sweatshirt. Registered entrants also receive a custom race bib, finishers medal, a sweet treat that could be a mini pie, donut or cookie based on bakery availability, and access to snacks and refreshments. The event is chip timed with instant results; bibs must be worn visibly on the front to ensure accurate timing.
Parking is free and available at Scioto Audubon Metro Park near the central activity area and surrounding lots. Dogs on leash are allowed and a bowl will be available at the finish area. Strollers are permitted. Headphones and personal audio devices are allowed though they may reduce awareness of course safety. In an emergency notify a course marshal or call 911. The run will take place in rain, snow or shine but may be delayed for dangerous conditions such as lightning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
