Run to Climax - Memorial Day community race
The Run to Climax is the 31st annual Memorial Day race held in Climax, Michigan, with the venue at Climax United Methodist Church, 133 E. Maple St., Climax, MI 49034. The event offers community-oriented running options and on-site activities in town following the race.

Proceeds support the local elementary school through the Climax-Scotts PTO and help fund materials and activities for students. Registration benefits include free street parking, a race t-shirt, and refreshments. To guarantee a t-shirt, registration must be completed by May 10; a limited number of extra shirts may be available during packet pickup on a first-come, first-served basis. Families of three or more receive a $5 discount per person when registered together.
Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in standard age group categories (14 and under through 70 and over). Timing and live results are provided by an event timing service.
For safety, streets will be closed during the event and runners should plan on finishing within a one hour timeframe. After streets reopen to traffic, anyone remaining on the course will need to move out of traffic's way and continue at their own risk.
