Run to Climax
Run to Climax is the 31st annual Memorial Day running event held in Climax, Michigan, with proceeds benefiting the Climax-Scotts PTO and local elementary school materials and activities. The event is based at Climax United Methodist Church and offers community-focused racing and post-race activities including a Memorial Day parade and local events.

Registration features early and late windows. Early registration rates apply through April 30, 2026; a late registration window runs in May with higher fees, and Sunday or same-day registration is available at an additional cost. Tee shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by May 10; a limited number of extra shirts will be available during packet pickup. Families of three or more receive a $5 discount per person when registered together. Children 5 and under are free for the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.
Streets on the course will be closed to accommodate increased activities and traffic. Runners should plan to finish within a one hour time frame; anyone remaining on course after that period will need to move out of traffic’s way and continue at their own risk.
Results are timed by MAC’s Sports Timing and will be posted live. Awards include overall male and female and top three finishers in multiple age groups. Race directors may cancel the event for safety reasons; refunds will not be issued in those circumstances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
