Run Thru Reston
Run Thru Reston is an annual road race organized by Reston Runners. The event for 2027 is the 14th edition and is scheduled for Sunday, April 25, 2027, at South Lakes High School in Reston, Virginia. The race program includes two distances:
- Half marathon
- 5K
Proceeds benefit the Reston Runners Community Fund (RRCF), a nonprofit 501(c)(3). RRCF provides annual scholarships to student athletes at South Lakes High School and Herndon High School and offers financial support to elementary and middle school athletic programs in the Reston and Herndon area. The fund’s stated goal is to enhance local youths’ quality of life and health.
