Run The Woods

The Run The Woods event takes place on Saturday, October 3, 2026. All proceeds benefit Easterseals Central Illinois and the Timber Pointe Outdoor Center, a camp for children.

The event is located at 20 Timber Pointe Lane in Hudson, Illinois. The available events are:

• 5K (ages 16+)
• 5K Youth (ages 1–15)
• 8K (ages 16+)
• 8K Youth (ages 1–15)
• 1 Mile Trail Walk (untimed, ages 1+)

Awards are given for both the 5K and 8K races. They include top overall male and female finishers, and top male and female finishers in several age groups. Packet pickup is available on the Friday before the event or on race morning at the Timber Pointe Outdoor Center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
