Run the Woods

Event overview

Run The Woods is a multi-distance event held on October 3, 2026, at Timber Pointe Outdoor Center, 20 Timber Pointe Lane, Hudson, IL 61748. All proceeds benefit Easterseals Central Illinois and Timber Pointe Outdoor Center, which supports camp access for children regardless of ability. The event is organized by Run The Woods and includes an untimed trail walk option.

Age eligibility listed for each event: 5K and 8K open to ages 16 and over; youth races open to ages 1–15; the 1 Mile Trail Walk is open to ages 1 and over. Awards for the 5K and 8K include Top Overall Male and Female plus top male and female in each age group: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Packet pickup is available Friday (date/time TBD) or at Timber Pointe Outdoor Center on the day of the event. Registration pricing increases after September 5, 2026.
