Event overview
The Run the Virtues 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run takes place on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Bullard Wash Park, West McDowell Road, Goodyear, Arizona. This is the 10th annual edition of the event. Distances offered:

Registration is offered in two advance periods: Oct 20 - Dec 31 and Jan 1 - Feb 20, with higher fees in the later period. Example fees listed in the advance windows: 5K - $35.62 (early) and $40.98 (later); 1 Mile - $19.57 (early) and $24.92 (later). Race day registration fees are listed as 5K $45 and 1 Mile $30. Prices are inclusive of mandatory charges, items, and fees.
All participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a custom Dri-Fit tech t-shirt (option for $5 discount if no shirt selected). 5K participants are eligible for age group awards for top three finishers in standard age brackets. The event provides pre- and post-race refreshments and posts real-time results and photos. The event is pet friendly with leashed pets allowed, and welcomes wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons; roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not permitted. The event proceeds rain or shine; there are no refunds due to weather. Mail-in registration is available via a registration form with checks payable to StartLine Racing.
