ARR Thanksgiving Day Classic
The ARR Thanksgiving Day Classic is a community running event held at Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria, AZ. The event offers three distances and uses a start and finish at the sports complex.

- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Run
All finishers receive a custom finisher medal. The event includes separate youth and young adult entry categories; some youth and members only entries do not include race shirts. Adult registrations for the 5K and 10 Mile and all 1 Mile Fun Run participants include a long sleeve technical shirt. Youth shirts are available for $20 and sizes may be limited.
A portion of race proceeds will be donated to the Peoria Diamond Club, which provides grants to local charities including Special Olympics Arizona. Organizers also collect unwrapped toys for the Peoria Toy Drive with drop off available on race day morning and during packet pickup.
Awards consist of pies given to the top three in each age group for both the 5K and 10 Mile. There is a race cut off for safety equivalent to a 15 minute per mile pace for the 10 Mile; finishers after this cut off are not eligible for age group award pies. Strollers and baby joggers are allowed but must start at the back of the pack.
Early packet pickup is offered on the weekend before and at Peoria Sports Complex the day before the race. Volunteers support event operations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
