Thanksgiving Day Classic
The Thanksgiving Day Classic is a holiday road race held at the Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria, Arizona. The event offers three distances and uses certified courses for the 10 Mile and the 5K. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal.

Awards for the 5K and 10 Mile include pies for the top three finishers in each age group. The event lists age-group categories for both races and holds an awards ceremony following the races. A safety cutoff is enforced; finishers who cross after the cutoff are not eligible for age-group pies.
Race shirts are a long-sleeve technical design included with adult 5K and 10 Mile registrations and with all 1 Mile Fun Run registrations. Youth shirts are available for an additional fee during registration.
A portion of race proceeds is donated to the Peoria Diamond Club to support local charities, including Special Olympics Arizona. The organizer also collects unwrapped toys for the Peoria Toy Drive, with drop-off available during packet pickup and on race morning.
Packet pickup and toy drop-off are scheduled at local locations in the days before the event and at the Peoria Sports Complex on race day. Registration is handled online only through RunSignUp. Strollers and baby joggers are permitted but are asked to start at the back of the field. Volunteers support race operations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
