Run the Vineyards - Priam Vineyards 5K
Run the Vineyards at Priam Vineyards is a chip-timed 5K running race held on the Priam Vineyards property in Colchester, Connecticut. The course runs across the 40 acre estate and onto some neighboring roads. The course is described as well groomed and well marked, with course marshals and at least one water station. The finish area provides water and bananas.
Event features include a tech shirt, a Run the Vineyards stemless wine glass, and a complimentary glass of wine for participants. Shirt sizing is offered in women’s, men’s/unisex, and youth options; a women’s racerback tank top is available for a fee and a men’s tank is available at no extra cost. Souvenir finisher medals are available for an additional fee during registration or at the race.
Awards are given to the Top Male and Top Female overall and to age group winners, with categories beginning at ages 14 and under and continuing in ten year increments. The event lists HEADstrong as the charity partner. A post race party on the vineyard grounds includes live music, wine, and a food truck. Free photos and parking are provided.
