Candy Cane Sprint
Candy Cane Sprint is a holiday themed running event held in Columbia, Connecticut, that supports Columbia Parks & Recreation. The course starts and finishes in the upper parking lot at 60 Hennequin Road, Columbia CT 06237, and the course is USA/TF certified.
Event features include professional chip timing by The Last Mile Racing, on course and start/finish line music, post-race snacks, and large division awards. Race participants receive a custom holiday themed race number and all finishers receive a candy cane. Festive socks are provided to the first 110 registered participants.
Bib pickup and race day registration take place in the upper parking lot. There is parking available around the park but parking is limited, and carpooling is noted as an option.
The Candy Cane Sprint is part of a Holiday Challenge that spans three towns and three days: Reindeer Dash in Chaplin, Candy Cane Sprint in Columbia, and Gingerbread Dash in Canterbury.
