Run the Vineyards - Pindar Fall 5K and 8K
Run the Vineyards takes place at Pindar Vineyards in Peconic, New York, and uses vineyard property and surrounding grounds for the courses. The event is held in the fall on the vineyard's 300 acres and supports the NY Cancer Foundation.

Both courses run through the vineyard property and are described as mostly flat, on hard packed dirt trails and short cut grass. The event is walker friendly; walkers and children must register to participate. Race timing is professionally chip based with live streamed results. Water stations are available on course, with water and bananas at the finish.
Participants receive a high quality tech tee with an option to upgrade to a long sleeve tech for an extra $6. Souvenir finisher medals are available for purchase during registration or on race day. Awards are given to the top three overall and age group male and female winners with age categories including 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, and every 10 years thereafter.
The after party features a glass of Pindar wine for people age 21 and over, a stemless Run the Vineyards wine glass, live music immediately following the race, and food trucks on site. Spectators are welcome and additional wine is available for purchase. Parking is on site and free. Race photos are available for download and are emailed after the event. The event runs rain or shine and organizers do not offer transfers or refunds. Volunteers receive a complimentary glass of wine and a free future race entry.
