Run the Vineyards - Pindar Fall 5K and 8K
The event takes place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Pindar Vineyards, 37645 NY 25, Peconic, NY 11958. It offers two distances through the vineyard property and supports the NY Cancer Foundation. The race is held rain or shine and does not allow transfers or refunds.

Both courses run through Pindar Vineyards and traverse the vineyard property, which covers 300 acres. The course is described as flat and is mostly on hard packed dirt trails and short cut grass. The event is walker friendly and requires registration to participate. Results are professionally chip-timed and live streamed.
Participants receive a custom tech tee included with registration; a long sleeve tech upgrade is available for an additional $6 while supplies last. Water stations are located on course and water and bananas are provided at the finish. Awards include medals for top 3 overall and age group male and female winners (age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, and each decade). Finisher medals may be purchased during registration or on race day.
The after-party includes a glass of Pindar wine, a 15 oz stemless "Run the Vineyards" wine glass, live music, food trucks (including Dilly Dilly Donuts), an awards ceremony, and free downloadable photos available 24-48 hours after the event.
