Event details
The 5K is described as a relatively flat course through Pindar Vineyards. Timing is chip-based with instant results. Water is provided at a water station and at the finish line, where bananas are also available. Awards are given to the Top 3 overall and to age group male and female winners for 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, and then every 10 years.
Post-race features include live music, food trucks, a complimentary glass of Pindar wine for participants, and a full wine bar and tasting options. Pawsitive Possibilities will be on site with puppy adoptions. Amenities listed are a custom race tee (youth, women’s and adult/men’s options), a "Run the Vineyards" stemless wine glass for finishers, free downloadable race photos, and souvenir finisher medals available for purchase. The race partners with the NY Cancer Foundation. The event is held rain or shine and the organizer states there are no refunds or deferrals.
