Run the Vineyards - Memorial Day at Pindar 5K
This event takes place at Pindar Vineyards in Peconic, NY and offers a chip-timed 5K and a separate 1 Mile Walk through the vineyard grounds. The 5K course is described as relatively flat and runs through Pindar Vineyards on the North Fork Wine Trail. The 1 Mile Walk follows a scenic one-mile route among the vines.

Race services and amenities include chip timing with instant results, a water station and finish-line water and bananas, free downloadable race photos from a professional photographer, and a Run the Vineyards stemless wine glass for all finishers. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and to age-group male and female winners in specified age categories including 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, and every 10 years thereafter. A custom tech shirt is offered with options for women's, youth, and men's/unisex sizes; shirt upgrades and size guarantees depend on registration dates. Additional on-site offerings include food trucks, a full wine bar and tasting options, one complimentary glass of wine for participants 21 and over, live music until noon, and a puppy adoption presence from Pawsitive Possibilities.
