Run the Vineyards - Memorial Day at Pindar 5K
The Run the Vineyards series returns to Pindar Vineyards in Peconic, New York, for its 7th annual Memorial Day weekend event. This race takes place on the North Fork Wine Trail and offers participants a route through the vineyard grounds.
Available distances include:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Walk
The 5K course is chip-timed and designed to be relatively flat as it winds through the vineyard property. A water station is provided on the course, with additional water and bananas available at the finish line. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as winners in specific age groups ranging from 14 and under to 70 and over. The 1 Mile Walk offers a scenic shorter route through the vines.
Registered participants receive a high-quality technical shirt and a stemless wine glass upon finishing. Souvenir finisher medals are available as an optional addition. Professional race photos are taken during the event and made available for free download.
The event concludes with an after-party featuring live music, food trucks, and a full wine bar. Participants aged 21 and over receive one complimentary glass of wine.
