Run the Vineyards - Bohemia Manor Farm 5K and 8K
This event stages trail races at Bohemia Manor Farm Winery in Chesapeake City, Maryland. Two chip timed distances follow courses that pass through the vineyard, along the Bohemia River, and on wooded trails. Live-streamed instant results are provided.
Distances:
- 5K Trail Run: vineyard, Bohemia River, wooded trail
- 8K Trail Run: more technical wooded trails plus vineyard and waterfront views
Race support includes water stops, course marshals, and finish line refreshments such as water and bananas. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and to male and female age-group winners in these brackets: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, and every 10 years thereafter.
Finisher amenities listed by the organizer include a high quality tech shirt with size and style options, a stemless wine glass for all finishers, optional souvenir finisher medals for purchase, a complimentary glass of wine for finishers age 21 and over, and free downloadable photos from a professional photographer. An after party is held on the Bohemia River waterfront with live music, a food truck, and wine available for purchase; spectators are welcome.
Additional notes: walkers must be registered and start behind runners, children receive a discounted registration price without a wine ticket, the event is held rain or shine with no refunds or deferrals, and packet pick-up is available on race day at the Good Day for a Run tent at the winery. Volunteers receive perks and free future race entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
