Run The Town Pink 5K
This event in Manistee centers on a community 5K run and a 1 Mile Remembrance Walk that begin and finish near the Manistee Municipal Marina at 480 River Street. The course follows the shores of First Street Beach and passes through downtown Manistee. Participants are encouraged to wear pink to show support for breast cancer awareness.

The 5K is currently unofficially timed; a clock will be present at the start/finish line and participants may record their own times. Runners who complete the 5K receive a finishing medal; there will be no age group awards. The 1 Mile Walk does not have a registration fee.
A pre-race ceremony will include a prayer led by the Chaplain to honor those affected by cancer. Bib pickup is available the day of the event and the day before at the Manistee Municipal Marina; bibs may be decorated with names or memories.
All proceeds benefit Paint the Town Pink, supporting breast cancer patients and families in Manistee County. Funds raised have supported 3D digital mammography equipment, a breast biopsy chair, and enhancements to breast health services and education at Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital.
