The course runs along the shores of First Street Beach and through downtown Manistee, with the start and finish located near the Manistee Municipal Marina. Timing is unofficial: there will be a clock at the start and finish line, but participants are encouraged to track their own times. Finishers receive a medal; there are no age group awards.
The Remembrance Walk includes a ceremony featuring a prayer led by the event Chaplain to honor those affected by cancer. Packet and bib pickup is available the day of the event and also on Friday, October 2, at the Manistee Hospital Community Health Center at 1345 E. Parkdale Ave. Registration opens July 1, 2026, and closes October 3, 2026. The stated registration fee is $30.00.
All proceeds support Paint the Town Pink, a community initiative that funds breast health services and equipment, including 3D digital mammography, a breast biopsy chair, and related service enhancements at Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital.
