Arcadia Daze 5K
The Arcadia Daze 5K is a community road run held in Arcadia, Michigan as part of the Arcadia Daze Festival. The event presents a Dark Sky theme and highlights the local nightscape community and small-town surroundings. The race distance is 5K.
Registration information is provided with a listed fee of $28.00 and specific open and close dates. Registered participants receive a commemorative bib with chip timing and a short sleeve Arcadia Daze soft tee. Packet pickup is available at Finch Park on Friday, July 24 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on race day beginning one hour before the event.
Awards include overall medals for the top male and female finishers and medals for the top three finishers in each 5-year age group: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80 and over. Sievert's Maple Syrup is donated for the overall winners.
Proceeds benefit the Arcadia Lions Club, with all proceeds returned to support Arcadia and surrounding communities. A post-race pancake breakfast is offered to participants at a discounted price of $10.00 and is available to non-race participants for $15.00.
