Run the Pier Running Festival
The Run the Pier Running Festival takes place in Manistee, Michigan, along the Lake Michigan shoreline. The event base is located at Duffy Park, where participants follow routes that feature the historic North Pier and the local lighthouse.
Participants can choose from four different distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
- 26.2 Miles (Full Marathon)
The 5K event is open to both runners and walkers. For the 10K, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon, the courses follow Lakeshore Drive, providing views of Lake Michigan throughout the race. All participants who complete their respective distances are eligible for one of the 600 total finisher awards available.
Registered athletes receive an official event T-shirt and additional gear. The festival atmosphere includes on-site food trucks offering various breakfast and lunch options for participants and spectators.
