3rd Annual Run The Runway 5K
The event is scheduled for November 15, 2025, at Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport in Fernandina Beach, Florida. The race distance is 5K. The course starts, runs, and finishes on an airport runway; organizers have received permission to close active runways for the event. The event is hosted by Southern Timing Foundation, Inc.
Logistics, timing and awards
Packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport terminal, 700 Airport Rd, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034. Parking for the event is accessed off Crane Island Drive. The entry fee is $45; the price increases after November 14, 2025 at 11:59pm EST. All participants receive a commemorative finisher medal, a race shirt, and a sponsor gift bag.
Chip timing is provided by Southern Timing, LLC. Each participant receives an individual results page with results, pace breakdown, a finisher certificate, and a 20-second video of crossing the start and finish. Awards are given to the top 3 male and female overall, top 3 male and female masters, and top 3 in each age group: 10 & under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
