Event Overview
The Run the Runway 5K - Augusta is a community running event hosted by Augusta Regional Airport (AGS). This is the fifth annual edition of the event. The proceeds benefit America's Warrior Partnership, a local nonprofit organization focused on preventing veteran suicide.

- Run the Runway 5K for adults.
- Kids Registration 5K for children ages 8-12.
- Kids Fun Run for children age 7 and under.
Course Details
The course utilizes the runway at Augusta Regional Airport. The route is primarily concrete with some sections of gravel and dirt. The start and finish area is at the airport and adjacent New Savannah Bluff Lock and Dam Park. The course is open to runners, walkers, strollers, and wheelchairs. Only service animals are permitted. There is no rain date alternative.
Registration
Adult registration is $35. Registration for children ages 8-12 is $30. Registration for children age 7 and under is $15, which includes participation in a fun run and a t-shirt. Registration for the event closes on March 13, 2026. To guarantee a race t-shirt, registration must be completed by March 1, 2026.
Packet Pickup
Participants must collect their race packets on Friday, March 13, 2026, between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM at Fleet Feet Augusta, located at 229 Furys Ferry Rd. There is no packet pickup on the day of the race.
Event Day
The event takes place at New Savannah Bluff Lock and Dam Park, 2116 Lock & Dam Rd. Overflow parking will be available, and golf cart shuttles will be provided. Water, fruit, and giveaways will be available from on-site vendors.
Awards
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. Additional awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 8-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
