Run the Runway 5K - Augusta
The fifth annual Run the Runway 5K takes place on March 14, 2026 in Augusta, Georgia. The event uses Augusta Regional Airport's runway and the adjacent New Savannah Bluff Lock and Dam Park at 2116 Lock & Dam Rd. The route is primarily concrete with some gravel and dirt.

- Kids 5K, ages 8 to 12
- Kids fun run, age 7 and under
The event benefits America's Warrior Partnership, a nonprofit that works with communities to prevent veteran suicide. The organizer cites the local military presence as a reason for selecting this beneficiary.
Registration fees listed are $30 for early adult registration, $25 for children ages 8 to 12, and $12 for children age 7 and under. Prices increase on February 1, 2026. Registrations submitted by March 1, 2026 are noted as required to guarantee a race t-shirt. Children age 7 and under who participate in the fun run will receive a t-shirt.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Fleet Feet Augusta, 229 Furys Ferry Rd, on the day before the race. There will be no day of race packet pickup. On event day overflow parking and golf cart shuttles will be available. Vendors will provide water, fruit, and giveaways. Only service animals are allowed. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted. There is no rain day alternate.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
