About the race
Run the Roux takes place the morning of the St Joseph Cajun Festival in Vinton, Louisiana, and features a community 5K and a 1 mile fun run. The event starts and finishes at 1502 Industrial Street and follows marked streets through the heart of Vinton.

- 1 mile out and back route from the Religious Education building
The 5K is a loop that follows multiple local streets, including Industrial, South, Horridge, Penny, Stevenson, Perry, Vincent, Goodwin, Lyons, Loree, and Gum Cove. The 1 mile event is an out and back from the Religious Education building along South and Eddy streets with a turnaround near Goodwin Street.
