Run the River - Kennewick
Run the River is a road race held in Kennewick, Washington that offers multiple distances from a 5k up to a full marathon, including a marathon relay and a half marathon. The start and finish are located next to the Columbia River in Columbia Park, and the course travels through Kennewick, Richland, and Pasco.
The route uses paved paths and roadways for its entire length and passes landscaped parks, the Columbia River, and surrounding mountains. The courses are flat and take place in cool spring conditions, which can support faster finish times for some participants. The layout also accommodates walkers as well as runners.
Several course certifications are in place. The marathon course is USATF certified (WA24035RMB) and can be used as a Boston Marathon qualifier.
