Run the Quay : Fuquay-Varina, NC
Run the Quay is a community running event held in early June 2027 in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. The event offers live and virtual race options and includes a children’s fun run presented by WakeMed Children’s.

- Children's Twinkle Dash: 50-yard and 100-yard runs for ages 10 and under
Advanced packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, June 5 at Fuquay-Varina Presbyterian Church, Fellowship Hall Grounds (309 N. Ennis Street). Race day check-in is available for participants who do not pick up packets in advance. Registration for all races closes on Friday, June 5; there is no race day registration.
Virtual races run from May 29 through June 18 with 5K and 10K options. Virtual finish times are not eligible for time-based awards. Finisher medals for the 15 Quay Challenge are awarded only to live race participants. Race shirts and finisher medals are included for registrations completed before announced swag cutoffs.
Event organizers note that town code prohibits animals at town-sponsored events or on town-owned property during the event. Run the Quay is produced by the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce staff and a volunteer committee and serves as the Chamber’s largest annual fundraiser; a selected charity partner receives a portion of proceeds.
