Run the Plank 5k : Ottawa, IL
Run the Plank 5k takes place on June 20, 2026, in Ottawa, Illinois, at 211 E. Main St. The event raises funds to support the Ottawa Township High School Cross Country Team. The course starts and finishes at Ottawa High School, runs through the river walk and the I&M Canal, and follows the east side of town. The distance is certified at 3.1 miles and the race is chip timed by Racing Expectations with live results. Traffic is controlled along the course. Live music will be present, and water and refreshments will be available at the finish. The event is held rain or shine; if canceled for extreme weather there will be no make-up date.
