Run the Plank
Run the Plank is a 5K run/walk held in Macomb Township on June 27, 2026. The course follows the east side of Romeo Plank Road, starting at Immanuel Lutheran Church and proceeding north to St. Peter Lutheran Church on 24 Mile Road. The distance is roughly three miles and participants may run or walk the route. Strollers are allowed; pets are not permitted.
A 1 Mile Fun Run takes place on the grounds of St. Peter Lutheran Church during the Family Fun Fair after the 5K. Registration is not required for the 1 Mile Fun Run.

- 1 Mile Fun Run - 1 mile
Registration pricing is published for several windows: early bird pricing of $35 on or before April 15, regular registration from April 16 to June 15 at $40, late registration June 16 to June 25 at $45, and a final fee on June 26 at $50. A child option for ages 5 and under is listed as free, with an option to purchase a shirt. Must register by June 1 for guaranteed shirt size. There is no race day registration and no refunds.
Packet pick-up is held the day before at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Parking is at St. Peter Lutheran Church, with shuttle buses transporting participants to the start; additional transportation details are provided during packet pick-up.
