Run the Parks - 5K Run and 2K Walk Along the Mississippi Riverfront
Run the Parks is a recurring community event hosted by Minneapolis Parks and Recreation at Water Works Park in Minneapolis. Each edition begins and ends at Water Works Park and follows routes along the Central Mississippi Riverfront.
The course passes notable riverfront features and downtown parkways, including the Stone Arch Bridge, Central Avenue Bridge, Main Street, and Nicollet Island. Routes and updates are shared through a Strava Club associated with the event.
