5K Fun Run at La Doña Cervecería
The Minnesota Brewery Running Series presents an untimed 5 km fun run that starts and finishes at La Doña Cervecería in Northeast Minneapolis. The course is marked and will use neighborhood streets and nearby paths when possible. Final course maps and parking information are sent to registered participants the week of the event.
The event is open to runners, walkers, joggers, and spectators. It is described as an untimed, open course and participants are asked to follow traffic laws. The run is scheduled to proceed rain or shine.
Registration includes one craft beverage from La Doña Cervecería with non-alcoholic options available, plus a collector's pint glass or Brewery Running Series swag item. Participants also gain access to a post-run celebration in the taproom with music, giveaways, and community activities. ID is required to consume alcohol and only guests aged 21 and older may drink.
The Brewery Running Series partners with local breweries and directs a portion of proceeds to Minnesota nonprofit organizations. Events in the series have raised more than $700,000 for local nonprofits to date. Registration for events is limited and events frequently sell out.
